Logos are an opportunity for a real estate agent to express themselves both professionally and personally. There is often a story behind a logo. Who was a former football coach or landscaper? Who sells luxury or hip urban rooftop properties?
Industrial clients need logos for new products. Q-Control is a product for managing a queue or line of people. This logo is currently trade marked.
I have had the honor of designing several logos for Lutheran churches. Often the church asks to incorporate a symbol from within the church.
Living Word Lutheran Church had an old logo to which they wanted a small revision but poor quality prohibited doing so. Instead we created a fresh updated version to better reflect the church and its mission. A must in the logo was an open book. We were able to incorporate an open book with a "living" tree. Colors from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America were chosen, so when the logos are paired they work together.
Listening to a client's needs and asking the right questions is important, especially with a logo. How will it be used? Print only? Web and social media? Screen printed? Color or black and white only? After these questions are answered, I play around and see where creativity takes me. Often logos will be created in both color and black and white, plus horizontal and vertical versions.
